Like the title says. Over this year alone I've felt a lot of good things and encountered many people that have helped me learn and overcome many hardships through coming to terms with myself and other things. Even in spite of the many horrible things and conflicts in our world.  

The next year i feel is an opportunity to broaden and strengthen what i have and who i am. Many things or even people will be left behind... I will wash out and rise anew. I will find the power in myself and will overcome even the steepest cliff of problems. 

And all this is thanks the people i owe everything to... the ones who gave me this strength. you know who you are.

To everyone.. a happy new year. May we greet the new dawn together. 

So yeah. judging by the current state of the poll this is going to be a rather contriversial and unpopular move. 

But im going to be making some adjustments to the colour schemes of a majority of the characters. 

Some will only have minor saturation adjustments. Some might not even have to change at all. 
While some will have rather jarring changes to their traditional scheme. 

This will mostly be done in the Current Ref Sheets and any following this change.
Over the next few days i will be updating the So far posted Reference sheets (Airon Yuri Jayco Ellair and Oblivions) to reflect these new colours.

- Gameplay is that of a typical RPG with levels, towns and battles. 
Fighting has a system known as the charge system where instead of MP attacks require a certain amount of turns to be used 
Basic Attack and item commands have no charge while Defend will add a charge faster. 

Example - Spirit Blade will have a charge of 2 and requires two turns of wait until it can be used 

- A Rock Paper scissors system will be featured in the form of the Novinnate System 
Mind > Body > Soul > Mind as well as Null 
Mind - Raised intellect, Commonly used by Psychics and strategists with careful planning. 
Soul - Raised soul, used by spirits, undead and those with powerful willpower and aura. 
Body - Raised strength and resiliance, usually inherited by those with incredible gumption or those who can take alot of pain.
Null - no increased Stat - No advantages, No weaknesses

Technique examples - 
- Wake Up Slap - Body - Wake allies or enemies up -
- Meditate - Mind - Focus your self to lower charge time - 
- Taunt - Mind - Anger Your enemies causing them to take longer charge time - 
- Brave Stance - Soul - Stand against your foes with determination, Raises Attack 
- Spirit Blade - Soul - A Sword beam attack 
Attack Types: Tech>Nature>Magic> is another system to consider
- Certain Characters will activate special techniques to do more damage and other effects, this is based on a special gauge. 

Overworld gameplay will have puzzle based dungeons and hidden areas you can find with many sidequests 

- Locations will mostly be within the Metropolis of Vita Nova City with some other places

- The Story will be set around the rise of the Cyrex Empire and the adventures of Airon and friends before forming into the Barrage Squad. 

The point of view will shift between Airon Hikarikaze and Nega C Payne as they have their journeys and misadventures 

Characters will also vary between the parties

Jayco - Soul - Spark-rat

Clair Nightcutter - Soul - Gunner 
Karen Knight - Mind - Lancer (Temporary)

Darkness Centros - Body - Ruffian (Temporary)
Lili Violet (Pre Lamia) - Mind - Baron's Daughter
Doctor Edgar Cyrex - Null - Scientist
Characters such as Lydia, Beta, Oblivion etc are not currently planned in this mere draft. 

Other Features 
Jayco and Co 
Raise your games Jayco by giving him special nuts to raise his stats and even change his Novinnate, You can also send your Jayco out to other player's games to trade items and play minigames for prizes. 

Graphics - 
Graphics will be either sprite based or very detailed hand drawn images. 

I feel some people have many questions on the directions i'm going with the cast of the Barrage Squad (Formerly IBS) so i decided to set up this journal so people could ask me those questions revolving around the oddities, changes and plans i have with the cast, world and story. perhaps these questions could intrigue me for future projects in the meanwhile. 

However the questions must not be anything about me personally, so any questions revolving around my real life will be ignored.
